Stage 1: Exploration and Discovery
1) Observe and Describe the mealworm using all your senses.
2) include a biological drawing of the mealworm.

Observations:
Sight - Mealworms are brown in colour. They ave parallel lines/ridges on their body that are dark brown. They do not move a lot and crawl very slowly. They always move along the side of the container. The end of the mealworm is slightly pointed. They have exactly six legs and a segmented body. They have feelers.
Smell - They do not have any smell.
Touch - Their skin is smooth but very dry and they have raised lines on their bodies. They react the most when the end of their body is touched.
Sound - No sound can be heard from them.
